ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, uncover and identify sales opportunities by:
    • Regular communication with financial advisors
    • Proactive outbound calls and emails
    • Researching prospective firms
    • Identifying advisor needs
  • Communicate confidently and fluently about key benefits of the firm’s investment offerings and associated tools, services, and collateral
  • Monitor and manage financial advisor relationships to ensure high quality service is delivered
  • Work closely with sales executives
  • Keep current on asset management information as it relates to the following: investment and technology solutions, marketing materials, operations, industry news, and current market events
  • Support territory segmentation and sales data functions
  • Maintain detailed records of communication
  • Coordinate with Marketing to provide information, benefit summaries, quotes, and application materials to assist financial advisors with further sales

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Interest in the financial sector
  • Excellent professional communication skills – interpersonal, written and oral
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • BA/BS degree
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

 

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • 1+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and develop enhancements to software products, including a large, complex statistical and financial software product and other technologies. Design new features with input from the Investment Committee and Relationship Managers. Manage testing, build and release processes. Plan and lead special technology projects. Perform occasional troubleshooting and resolution of customer or internal issues.

Ability to work from home (WFH) 2 days a week.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 2 years of experience developing complex software using object-oriented techniques.
  • Ability to design, develop and implement custom web and desktop financial applications using object-oriented programming language C#.
  • Experience in all layers of full-stack development from UI/UX to back end and database programming.
  • Expertise in successfully developing both web-based and standalone applications in a Microsoft tech stack.
  • Ability to develop customized features on top of financial applications and services and to perform data management.
  • Ability to plan larger projects and assign/delegate suitable parts to other team members.
  • Ability to train junior engineers and orient them into functional developer roles.
